Davido has reacted to the recent Grammy Awards won by the Nigerian duo of Burna Boy and Wizkid, saying it’s a victory for Nigeria.
Yesterday, history was made on the international scene as the legendary duo of Wizkid and Burna Boy went home with their Grammy Awards in different categories.
Burna Boy won the Grammys after his second successive nomination and won it with his “Twice as Tall album”, while Wizkid won the awards with his “Black Skin Girl” Video performance as he was featured by international songstress, Beyonce.
The achievement had sent Nigerians all over the world into fits of excitements as they hailed their exports and congratulated them for representing and making the country proud.
Nigerian international super star, Davido wasn’t left out of the excitement as he also took to his Twitter handle and congratulated the duo.
For the singer, it’s not just a victory for them but a victory for motherland.
