The It shoes that have been gracing the feet of fashion insiders over the last 2 years or so can be summarised as thus: Flats and flatforms. Whether its Prada’s loafers, Bottega’s chunky Chelseas or even the return of the UGG, comfort and casual appeal has been the name of the game—which is unsurprising considering how much time we’ve spent on our sofas throughout 2020 and 2021. Perhaps, this is why this season the fashion crowd have embraced a heel so extreme that even devoted stiletto-lovers may quail at its epic proportions.
