The Weeknd has unveiled the cover art for his upcoming album Hurry Up Tomorrow. Announced earlier this week, the project will mark the third and final installment in The Weeknd’s trilogy, which also includes 2020’s After Hours and 2022’s Dawn FM.
In his recent announcement, the artist shared a video with scrolling poem-like text:
“Yesterday was fourteen years ago… we held our breath falling into a shimmering sea in the after hours of the night. Attempted to cleanse the wounds with melodies and lights, a bulletproof bandage to shield what lies beneath.”
The newly-revealed cover art is a close-up of The Weeknd’s with dark shadows under his eyes. It’s certainly a simpler look compared to the fake facial prosthetics of his After Hours era or the gray beard he sported for Dawn FM.
Stay tuned for more details on The Weeknd’s Hurry Up Tomorrow LP, including the release date.
