The Weeknd confirmed that a “leaked” tracklist for his latest album, Dawn FM, is fake.
The false tracklist was shared on Twitter and claimed that Ariana Grande, Ty Dolla $ign (who have collaborated with The Weeknd in the past) and Kali Uchis were initially meant to appear on Dawn FM. ”i love every single one of these artists but this is beyond fake. XO,” the artist wrote on Twitter, quoting the original tweet.
Although Grande, Ty Dolla $ign and Uchis did not appear on Dawn FM, the album did feature guest appearances from Tyler, the Creator on “Here We Go… Again” and Lil Wayne on “I Heard You Were Married.” Dawn FM went on to debut at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and marks The Weeknd’s eight top 10 entry. The artist is also set to hit the road for a major stadium tour to support both Dawn FM and its predecessor After Hours this summer, hitting up North America and Canada.
