Jake Hoot is reuniting with his former The Voice coach Kelly Clarkson for an emotionally charged duet.
The season 17 winner unveiled the new music video for “I Would’ve Loved You,” featuring Clarkson, on Monday (Feb. 1), and the Taylor Ballantyne-directed vignette finds the duo belting the heartbreaking lyrics in an empty theater. “For the rest of my life, I promise you / And I’m gonna hate you as long and as much / As I would’ve loved you,” they sing together in the chorus.
“I Would’ve Loved You” is featured on Hoot’s 2021 EP, Love Out of Time.
