The Super Mario Bros. Movie will soon be available for streaming on Peacock. The film premiered in April and went on to become a box office hit, surpassing $1.3 billion USD in sales worldwide.
Peacock users will be able to watch the movie for themselves next month on August 3. In addition to the film itself, they’ll also have access to behind-the-scenes interviews with the cast and a “Field Guide” of bonus features. Completing the experience is a lyric video sung by Princess Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy).
Based on Shigeru Miyamoto’s Nintendo game of the same name, the film follows brothers Mario and Luigi who have started a plumbing business in Brooklyn. After going underground to fix a water leak, the two end up being sucked into a Warp Pipe, sending Mario to the Mushroom Kingdom and Luigi to the Dark Lands under the rule of Bowser.
Along with Taylor-Joy, the film’s voice cast includes Chris Pratt as Mario, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong and more.
Watch The Super Mario Bros. Movie on Peacock beginning on August 3.
