The Quiet Luxury Fashion Label Racking In Billions - EVOKE

Quiet luxury, also known as stealth or whispering wealth, is a trend that is dominating fashion right now and there’s one brand that A-listers are flocking to.

Succession’s girl boss Shiv Roy has been lauded as a poster child for the understated but mega-lavish style.

Yet so many celebs have gravitated towards the Italian label Loro Piana. It’s a well-established brand, in fact, it’s 99 years old.

It’s currently enjoying a real ‘It’ moment and Uma Thurman, Sharon Stone and Angelina Jolie all have pieces hanging in their closets…

The hyper-luxury brand crafts luxurious separates in cashmere, vicuña and extra-fine wool.

Meghan Markle famously stepped out in a €5k coat by the brand to visit an underprivileged school in Harlem in September 2021.

If you want to wrap yourself in luxury, be ready to fork out. For example, you can pick up a polo neck sweater for €2,100 and a pair of linen and virgin wool trousers for €1,300.

Gigi Hadid has showcased the modern appeal of the heritage label by adding a series of the brand’s mini bags to her off-duty wardrobe.

The quiet luxury dress code hinges on subtlety and classic silhouettes, there’s nothing flashy about it and in-your-face logos are especially absent.

So really there’s no surprise why Loro Piana is a prominent feature in the wardrobes of the uber-wealthy. They’re paying out too, as the retailer has reported annual sales of $1b.
