The Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie are in the midst of their co-headlining tour (get tickets here) honoring the bands’ respective 2003 albums, Give Up and Transatlanticism, and tonight (October 3rd), they’re set to play a sold-out show in Phoenix, Arizona. But for fans who aren’t able to catch the performance in-person, the bands have announced a livestream of the concert.
Directed by Lance Bangs, the livestream will capture the performances by both of the Ben Gibbard-fronted bands, as they dive into the albums that defined their respective sounds 20 years ago. With The Postal Service, Gibbard will be joined by bandmates Jimmy Tamborello and Jenny Lewis. Death Cab, meanwhile, will have its standard lineup.
The livestream will begin tonight at 8:00 p.m. PT / 11:00 p.m. ET, and will be hosted by Veeps, a livestreaming company co-founded by Good Charlotte’s Joel and Benji Madden. Tickets are available on Veeps’ website, and will go for $17.99, with fans having the option to re-watch the show at any point for seven days after purchase.

Additionally, the livestream will be available to subscribers of Veeps’ All Access program, which grants users “unlimited access to hundreds of upcoming concerts, performances, docu-concerts, exclusive Veeps-only artist content, merch drops, and more,” and allows folks to watch concerts up to a year after their original air date. The All Access tier is available for $11.99 per month, or $120 for an annual pass.
Meanwhile, even if you can only attend the show tonight virtually, you’ll still have plenty of chances to experience The Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie tour — named by Consequence as one of the 11 essential rock tours to catch this fall. The bands will stay on the road through the middle of October, when they wrap the tour with a final string of California dates. Check out their upcoming schedule below.
