Netflix on Tuesday shared the official trailer for the second installment of the fourth and final season of Ozark, which is slated for premiere on April 29.
Part Two, which will arrive three months following the debut of the first batch of episodes, will pick up where the finale of Part One left off with Julia Garner‘s Ruth out for blood in the aftermath of the murder of her cousin Wyatt.
Additionally, following the final episode of Part Two, Netflix will include a 30-minute special, titled “A Farewell to Ozark,” that will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the series. According to the streamer, the special episode “explores the genesis of the series, the rich characters we loved and loved to hate, the gripping performances that captivated us, the creatives who made magic behind the camera, and a wealth of memories over the last five years.”
Ozark follows Marty and Wendy Byrde (Jason Bateman and Laura Linney), who become involved with Missouri criminals upon moving to the Ozarks to continue laundering money. As the series progresses, the duo descends further and further into their dangerous scheme, and the final season explores whether or not they will ultimately get away with their crimes.
Elsewhere, Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaertner, Charlie Tahan, Jessica Frances Dukes, Lisa Emery, Felix Solis, Damian Young, Alfonso Herrera, Adam Rothenberg, John Bedford Lloyd, Joseph Sikora, Bruno Bichir, CC Castillo, Katrina Lenk, Bruce Davison, Ali Stroker and Veronica Falcón star in the series.
Chris Mundy wears multiple hats as showrunner, writer and executive producer. Meanwhile, Bateman, Mark Williams, John Shiban, Patrick Markey and Bill Dubuque also serve as executive producers.
