As if the post-Christmas award season schedule wasn’t packed enough, the Emmy Awards were moved from their usual place in September to mid-January after the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes upended the show last autumn. So last night, Hollywood finally gets to celebrate the year’s best television.
The 75th Emmy Awards, hosted by Anthony Anderson, included appearances by Jenna Ortega, Meghann Fahy, Ayo Edebiri, Juno Temple, Aubrey Plaza, and Quinta Brunson, to name a few. And since they’ve had a few extra months to think about their looks for the event, it’s safe to say that we were expecting the red carpet to be pretty exciting. And we were not disappointed.
