The Kid LAROI quietly unveiled the new track “Hatred.” A YouTube and Soundcloud exclusive, LAROI enlisted the Concrete commander Lil Yachty to contribute to the cut – marking the pairing’s first-ever collaborative offering.
“I used to buy you stilettos and Birkins / I don’t know why ’cause you wouldn’t be here if I was hurtin’ / I tried to erase you out my mind, all things was fine ’til I closed the curtain / I used to look at you like a God knowin’ damn well you an average person,” Yachty kicks off his verse.
The track is currently only available to stream on YouTube and Soundcloud. Per the track’s cover art – a screenshot of an iMessage conversation between the two rappers – LAROI “[hasn’t] been able to figure out a date for release yet” and “[didn’t] want to keep stalling on the fans”
“Hatred” marks LAROI’s third single of 2024, joining “HEAVEN” and “Still Yours (From The Doc)” – which, as the title suggests, made its debut in LAROI’s Kids Are Growing Up: A Story About a Kid Named Laroi documentary. The slate of singles arrives after LAROI’s THE FIRST TIME album, which he dropped off back in November.
LAROI just kicked off the European leg of his The First Time Tour. He’ll be taking the tour to North America beginning with a Vancouver show in May before making stops throughout the U.S.
Stream “Hatred” on YouTube and Soundcloud. The song is not yet available on Spotify, Apple Music or any other DSPs.
