A now-deleted tweet from Rolling Loud sent the internet into a frenzy as fans speculated the possible release date of Kendrick Lamar‘s highly-anticipated upcoming album.
Shortly after announcing K-Dot as a Rolling Loud Miami 2022 headliner alongside Kanye “Ye” West and Future, the Rolling Loud Twitter account shared, “Kendrick headlining Miami again means exactly what you think it means. It’s been 5 long years.” As fans flooded the replies with their own theories, the tweets were deleted and replaced with “It’s been 5 long years since Kendrick headlined Rolling Loud Miami.”
The tweets referred to Lamar’s headlining set at Rolling Loud Miami 2017, which took place less than a month after he dropped DAMN. in April of that year. Fans shared that “it would be insanity” if the Compton rapper headlined the festival without releasing the new album, and many theorized that the record will drop by summer.
Stay tuned for more info on the new Kendrick Lamar record.
