Earlier this year, we here at Ghostbusters News teamed up with retro-flashback band The Flux Capacitors, releasing a fan-centric music video for their newest song, “Ghostbusters News Anthem,” premiering during the annual Ghostbusters Day celebration.
Skip ahead, and Flux is back, dropping an official music video for what has quickly become our go-to theme song. Compiled between live-action footage, CG, and generative AI animation, the experimental take further pushes the narrative introduced in the original fan cut, as a group of Ghostbusters are called upon to investigate a haunted barnyard.
In addition to “Ghostbusters News Anthem,” fans should recognize Flux‘s additional contributions to the franchise, including a performance live on the Sony Pictures Studios lot as part of 2019’s Ghostbusters Fan Fest and providing their spooktacular spine-tingling take on Rockwell’s “Somebody’s Watching Me” for the mobile video game, Ghostbusters: Afterlife ScARe.
