At San Diego Comic-Con this past weekend, Marvel Studios announced that Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will serve to end Phase 4 and help develop Multiverse Saga. Additionally, the studio shared a look at the long-delayed film revealing the upcoming appearance of Kang the Conqueror, played by Jonathan Majors, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The first look shows Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man and Evangeline Lilly’s Hope van Dyne/Wasp, accompanied by Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang in her “Stature” suit. Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfieffer will also be returning as Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
Details are still scarce, but the Marvel Studios panel at SDCC 2022 revealed that Cassie will find herself in the Quantum Realm and encounter Bill Murray‘s yet-to-be-revealed character and Kang. Also, M.O.D.O.K., an acronym for Mental/Mobile/Mechanized Organism Designed Only for Killing, will serve as the main villain of the upcoming film set to lead into Marvel Studios’ Phase 5.
