The Dare has released another single from his upcoming debut album What’s Wrong With New York? titled “You’re Invited.” The song features The Dare’s signature gritty vocals and an instrumental that builds for the song’s climax.
The accompanying video is raunchy, featuring plenty of partying, making out and heavy petting. The Dare sings in the midst of a packed rooftop party with the New York City skyline enhancing the background.
“You’re Invited” follows The Dare’s lead single “Perfume” which maintains his signature sound while he sings about a secret weapon for seduction. His viral track “Girls” and his song “Good Time” from his first release, The Sex EP will also be included in the 10-song tracklist for this album.
The Dare has had an explosive summer as he produced the Charli XCX brat deluxe track “Guess” which recently received a remix featuring Billie Eilish. He has also accompanied Charli to numerous live appearances, notably DJing at her Boiler Room set in Ibiza.
He embarks on his first month-long headline tour right before his album release on September 5 in New York City’s Webster Hall. From there, he stops in Philadelphia, Salt Lake City, Vancouver and San San Francisco. The tour concludes on September 27 in Los Angeles.
What’s Wrong With New York? is out on September 6. You can stream “You’re Invited” below and watch the music video above.
