The Celebrity Winter Outfits We’ll Be Copying in 2023

The Celebrity Winter Outfits We’ll Be Copying in 2023

Whether you’re living vicariously through their red-carpet appearances, or simply getting style inspo from their off-duty styles, there’s plenty to gain from a little celeb spotting. From Tracee Ellis Ross to Margot Robbie, Hailey Bieber to Katie Holmes, the celebrity crowd has been supplying plenty of cold-weather style inspiration to solve all your sartorial dilemmas. From festive season party dressing, to staying warm when running errands, we’re certainly grateful for their style solutions this winter.

With the dropping temperature, we’re keen to find ways to spend as little time figuring out what to wear in the morning, leaving more time under your warm duvet. Below, I’ve highlighted the best celebrity winter outfits to copy through the winter season, well into 2023. No more standing in front of your wardrobe debating what to wear when you have these sleek looks as your point of reference. Elsa Hosk’s classic beige-and-blue pairing will never date and combines useful staples that will make for plenty of outfit formulas, whilst Rosie Huntington-Whitely solidifies her style icon status with yet another winning minimalist look. So many good outfits, so little time. Scroll down to see our full edit of celeb winter style inspo and shop the key pieces.

Tracee Ellis Ross shows that sometimes less is more. Take a classic roll neck and layer up with a leather trench and jeans for a sleek look that can take you from lunch dates to in-flight style.

Elevate a simple jeans look with this leather trench.

Rosie’s classic cream and black pairing adds a refined feel to this simple look. With leggings and loafer being winners this season, its easy to see why this look is such a success.

From Rosie’s collaboration with Gia Borghini.

Trust supermodel Naomi Campbell to exemplify refinement. Classic suiting in shades of grey with a crisp white shirt can be taken from office to afters with the addition of some heeled boots.

Finding the perfect pair of grey tailored trousers is no longer a challenge, thanks to Reformation.

Margot shows that she keeps her finger on the fashion pulse with this look. With oversized shapes having taken over this year, and next season maintaining the trend, baggy jeans and an oversized blazer continue to be a reliable go-to combination.

Now just add baggy or wide-leg jeans.

Hailey always gets it right, and this full tonal look definitely keeps to that trend. Mixing different shades of grey adds dimension to the look, whilst the oversized coat is both on trend and a cosy must for the chiller months.

I’m convinced that this coat will elevate any outfit.

There’s no denying that leggings are part of our everyday uniforms, in particular, split hem styles. We spot them constantly on our favourite celebs, and as they can be dressed up with heels or worn relaxed with trainers, they’re a worthwhile addition to any wardrobe.

The zips allow you to add a split hem at will.

Elsa Hosk demonstrates a colour combination with true staying power – beige and blue. Undertaken in classic wardrobe pieces such as a tweed jacket, roll-neck and jeans, this outfit will never feel tired.

Layer up with a beige turtleneck underneath.

Emily’s outfit reminds us that the humble puffer coat returns each year to provide duvet-like warmth and a stylish staple to see you through the cooler months. Top with a cosy hat for extra insulation.

Our editors really rate Arket’s puffer coats.

Take style notes for Ashley Graham and inject some colour into grey winter days. Swap the heels for trainers if you want a more laid-back take.

I still can’t believe this is from the high-street. Complete the suit with the matching trousers.

It can’t just be me whose noticed that Katie Holmes is on a roll right now. Each and every sighting provides plenty of inspiration, and this all-leather ensemble can be dressed up or down as needed.

These look so premium.

Style setter Alexa Chung is a master of layering. This winter, we’ll be adding a cosy fleece to our outfit rotations combining form and function.

Alexa’s exact fleece.

The only thing better than Selena’s look is how easy it is to recreate. The timeless combination of knee-high boots, mini dress and chic coat will forever be an outfit formula we turn to.

You’ll wear these well beyond winter.

If you ever needed proof of the power of a great coat, Naomie Harris has it. Make your coat the centre of attention this winter by opting for a long length and toning down your accessories.

This toned down version will work for your everyday winter wardrobe.

As we edge ever closer to Christmas, festive jumpers are popping up again. If you’re looking for a new way to style yours, why not try J.Lo’s fluid maxi skirt pairing.

If you forgo the skirt styling, jeans or tailoring work just as well.

Zoe Saldaña makes a very good case for the classic slip dress this season. Along with the cold season comes plenty of reasons to dress up, and this slip dress and overcoat combination will see you through all your upcoming events.

Ghost makes a case for this christmassy berry coloured slip.
