‘The Batman’ Director Teases New Look of Gotham City Ahead of Trailer Release

The Batman director Matt Reeves, has taken to Twitter to give fans a new glimpse of the upcoming Robert Pattinson-starring DC film.

Reeves posts a photo that appears to showcase Bruce Wayne’s Batman alter ego looking over the city of Gotham at sunrise. The image is accompanied by the caption, “Good Morning, from Gotham City…Can’t wait to show you more at #DCFanDome this Saturday…#TheBatman #Trailer Shot.” Teasing the full trailer of The Batman, Reeves is leaving a lot of room for imagination.

In a recent interview with AnOther Magazine, Zoe Kravitz, who is set to star alongside Pattinson as Selina Kyle aka Catwoman, the actress revealed that her role was “very physically demanding.” She adds, “I’m being zipped into a catsuit every day at 7am, working 12-hour days and then coming home and working out. It was intense.” She also discussed how she hopes that her rendition of Catwoman allows fans to see the character in a more realistic light rather than being sexualized, “How does this make me feel? How are we approaching this and how are we making sure we’re not fetishizing or creating a stereotype? I knew it needed to be a real person.”

The Batman trailer will release on October 16, 2021. The film is set to debut on March 4, 2022.
