My obsession with the collared knit was reignited when I spotted Shrimps’ adorable crystal-button statement-collar cardigan on Matches, and it instantly sparked a search for alternatives, both on the high street and second-hand. There is plenty to choose from, whether you’re wanting a preppier sweater, cosy cardigan, crocheted number or something with shorter sleeves.
We’ll be wearing ours now tucked into straight-leg jeans and accessorised with a chunky chain necklace. Then come autumn, we’ll be adding it to leather trousers with a blazer thrown over the top.
