The Alchemist has followed up his ScHoolboy Q-assisted cut “Ferraris in the Rain” with “Ferraris in the Rain Part 2,” which now includes a contribution from Freddie Gibbs.
Clocking in at just under three minutes, the single opens with a lengthy verse from Gibbs and retains only the chorus from ScHoolboy Q which appeared in the predecessor. While the original appeared as the opening track on Alc’s The Genuine Articulate, it remains to be seen whether “Part 2” will join an extended or deluxe edition of the project.
The collab arrives just as Gibbs himself teased the arrival of his upcoming album via billboards around Los Angeles that honored Freddy Krueger and included a phone number. TMZ was able to confirm that the phone number’s voice recording is that of the real Freddy, Robert Englund. A release date for the record is yet to be announced.
