Technogym has just released a new piece of gym equipment to satisfy the tens of millions of cyclists in the world — there are 50 million cyclists in the United States alone. Created with the help of cycling champions, the Technogym Ride features a real gearbox that replicates an outdoor cycling experience. The Ride is capable of reading a 0 – 1000 watt reaction time in half a second, sees a V-shaped frame, is ultra-quiet, has an integrated 22-inch console, and adjustable pedal cranks.
The Technogym Ride is compatible with cycling apps Zwift, Strava, ROUVY, TrainingPeaks, Kinomap and Bkool, as well as entertainment apps like Netflix and Eurosport. Those looking to improve fitness can also try out the bike’s TNT (Technogym Neuromuscular Training) programs developed by the Technogym Research Center to improve both metabolic and neuromuscular development.
Priced at $4,850 USD, the Technogym Ride will be making its way to gyms in May.
