Five artists racked up record song sales to be nominated for Top Song Sales Artist at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards, but only one can come out on top.
Taylor Swift has a whopping 54 top 10 hits (and 20 No. 1s) on Billboard‘s Digital Song Sales chart, Post Malone has notched 11 top 10 hits, Billie Eilish carries five, Lizzo holds three, and Lil Nas X has one, which ended up going to No. 1.
Three of the nominees are also up for Top Selling Song: Eilish (“bad guy”), Lil Nas X (“Old Town Road,” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus), and Lizzo (“Truth Hurts”).
The 2020 Billboard Music Awards will air Oct. 14 at 8 p.m. ET, live from Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre on NBC, with Kelly Clarkson returning for her third year as the evening’s host. The 2020 Billboard Music Awards are produced by dick clark productions, which is owned by MRC Entertainment, the parent company of Billboard.
