It’s that time of year again! Spotify has launched the 2023 iteration of its popular Wrapped series, letting users see who and what they’ve been listening to the most over the course of the last year.
Unsurprisingly, Taylor Swift earned the most streams across the globe on the platform, stealing the No. 1 spot from Bad Bunny, who previously held the title for three years. Swift raked in more than 26.1 billion streams worldwide, and in the U.S., she also claimed the top spot, ahead of Drake, Morgan Wallen, The Weeknd and Bad Bunny.
Since January 1, Spotify has counted more than 574 million users globally. On the songs chart, Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers” earned the most streams with 1.6 billion listens; and for albums, Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti earned the top title for the second-consecutive year. In the podcast world, The Joe Rogan Experience claimed first place, with Call Her Daddy, Huberman Lab and Anything Goes With Emma Chamberlain following behind.
In addition to showing users’ top artists, songs, podcasts and genres, this year’s Wrapped has a number of new personalized stats with refreshed data. Among them, “Me in 2023” illustrates users’ specific streaming habits, and “Sound Town” matches users to a city based on their listening and artist affinity.
Like previous years, users can access their Wrapped data through the Spotify app on iOS and Android, via the Wrapped button in the top right corner of the home page. Learn more about Spotify Wrapped 2023 on the platform’s official website.
