Taylor Hawkins’ Preliminary Toxicology Screening Reportedly Found 10 Substances

10 substances were reportedly found in Taylor Hawkins’ preliminary “forensic medical study,” which was carried out by Colombia’s Attorney General’s Office on Saturday.

CNN states that the urine toxicology test done on the late Foo Fighters drummer found substances such as THC, tricyclic antidepressants, benzodiazepines and opioids. “The National Institute of Forensic Medicine continues the medical studies to achieve total clarification of the events that led to the death of Taylor Hawkins,” a statement read, adding that his cause of death will be investigated by the attorney general’s office in a “timely manner.”

The sudden death of Hawkins was announced by Foo Fighters on Friday, just before the band was scheduled to perform at the Estéreo Picnic Festival. “The Foo Fighters family is devastated by the tragic and untimely loss of our beloved Taylor Hawkins,” a statement from the band read. “His musical spirit and infectious laughter will live on with all of us forever,” the band said on Twitter. “Our hearts go out to his wife, children and family, and we ask that their privacy be treated with the utmost respect in this unimaginable difficult time.”
