Here’s a List of Every Electronic Music Show at Red Rocks In 2022

If music were water, Colorado would never run dry. It’s no secret that Colorado is a hub for electronic music. And its most iconic venue, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, is its biggest purveyor. Celebrated for its natural acoustics, which are made possible by two giant monoliths flanking the amphitheater, the open air venue is one of those ineffable places that consistently manufactures “you had to be there” moments. Ergo, only those who have attended an electronic dance music show at Red Rocks can attest how special it is. Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado. Subtronics Previews “Do It To It” Remix, “Griztronics II,” and Collabs with Zeds Dead and Grabbitz

Subtronics casually dropped a laundry list of previews of high-profile IDs over the past 24 hours. On Monday and Tuesday, he took to Twitter to share a video of some of the unreleased songs he played during his performance at EDC Orlando over the weekend. Not only did he provide a little taste of what’s to come, but he also shared the list of collaborators involved. Starting off the video is a portion of his remix of this festival season’s biggest track, “Do It To It” by ACRAZE and Cherish. Maintaining the vocals from the 2006 single heavily sampled throughout, Subtronics sprinkles in some heavyweight bass and transforms the house anthem into a pounding dubstep banger. The next is a collaboration with Zeds Dead. After introducing the track with a sample from Basemen...

Immediately preceding the drop an inquisitive audio sample can be heard, “What is something people are not ready to hear?” Amusingly, a robot-like vocal responds, “GRiZ and Zeds Dead,” as a flood of lasers descended upon the audience to the sounds of unearthly, distorted basslines and soaring falsettos. The set quickly got social media buzzing, and both GRiZ and Zeds Dead seemed left genuinely blown away...

The EP kicks off with Zeds Dead’s acoustic version of “i think you’re cool,” a future bass-inspired track featuring a hypnotic top-line from singer-songwriter Jenna Pemkowski.
