Kanye West took to social media on Thursday (Oct. 6) to share a video of Fox News host Tucker Carlson stopping by the new Yeezy offices for a visit. “TUCKER CARLSON STOPPED BY THE NEW YEEZY OFFICE FUN GOD IS GOOD,” the rapper captioned the clip on his Instagram feed. After being served a welcome drink known as the Donda (“I’m pretty open-minded about what I put in my mouth,” Carlson said), the Fox News personality learned all about Yeezy’s latest experiment in 3D-printed shoes — including the possibility of creating a “3D printing facility, like a farm.” “Can I ask a stupid question?” Carlson asked a Yeezy employee about the futuristic footwear. “Are they assembled? Is the sole attached or are they printed…” He then seemed positively mind-blown when the employee explained that each shoe wa...

We wouldn’t dare be the ones to tell Kanye West if his Yeezy designs were trash, but it sure does look like he’s asking for it. Nonetheless, the rapper has defended the clothing display for his new Yeezy Gap line, wherein piles of ill-fitting neutrals were sheepishly tossed together in what appears to be literal garbage bags. Ye received a fair amount of backlash for the trash bag display — which he emphasized were actually construction bags — and was accused of mocking homeless people. Fittingly enough, he went on the air with Fox News to explain his thought process behind the display. “Look man, I’m an innovator, and I’m not here to sit up and apologize about my ideas,” Ye said from the Times Square Gap store, adding that his goal was to make fashion more accessible and informal. “T...

Kanye West’s latest fashion venture involves assistance from some unlikely newcomers. TMZ reports the rapper and business mogul has partnered with David Sabastian, the founder of streetwear brand Skid Row Fashion Week, for a forthcoming Yeezy collaboration that would give people without homes the opportunity to model the clothes they made themselves. Skid Row Fashion Week donates a portion of all sales to those living on Skid Row, a neighborhood in downtown Los Angeles known for its large homeless community. SRFW’s factory also employs people experiencing homelessness. Ye’s collaboration with the brand, which is scheduled to drop February 22nd, will go one step further by funneling 100% of the proceeds back to Skid Row’s residents, who also have a hand in designing the brand’s clothing.
