May Day: Minister donates bus to staff union

The Minister of State for Science and Technology, Mr Mohammed Abdullahi, on Saturday, donated a 28- seater bus to the ministry’s staff union. The gesture was in commemoration of the 2021 Workers’ Day. Abdullahi disclosed this in a message he posted on his Twitter handle, @MohdHAbdullahi. He said the gesture was meant to show appreciation for the workers’ dedication and to ease their movement to and from work. US workers enticed with bonuses, time off to get coronavirus vaccine

As Covid-19 vaccination drives get into gear across the United States, some businesses are offering transportation, paid time off and bonuses of up to $500 to encourage workers to get the jab. Nigerian government warns civil servants against flouting coronavirus guidelines

The Federal Government has warned federal civil servants against flouting the workplace guidelines put in place to flatten the curve of coronavirus pandemic in the country. Nigerian government says churches, mosques can reopen

The Federal Government has announced relaxation of restriction on gatherings in places of worship imposed as part of the guidelines to curb the spread of COVID-19 in the country. The presidential task force (PTF) on COVID-19 led by Boss Mustapha, secretary to the government of the federation and chairman of the PTF, announced that President Muhammadu Buhari had approved the relaxation of the ban for four weeks on Monday.
