Watch Wooli Drop Mind-Melting Unreleased Subtronics Collab at Drive-In Rave

Bass music titan Wooli threw down a rip-roaring dubstep set over the weekend at “Pavement Rave,” a drive-in concert series in Scranton, PA. During his set, he uncorked a mammoth collaboration with fellow dubstep maven Subtronics, dropping the curtain on a quirky dubstep bomb that rattled the home of Dunder Mifflin. An eerie vocal refrain of “it’s all in your head” echoes throughout a monster build, which culminates in a dubstep drop of leviathan proportions. It features wacky, frenetic synths, which run roughshod through a thunderous bass and punchy drums. Wooli took to Twitter to retweet a video of the song and tease its impending release, writing, “Subtronics collab will only be finished if you clap loudly. The applause-o-meter is ready to hear ho...

KPM Promotions Gears Up to Host Utah’s First EDM Drive-In Show, “Roll’N Rave”

Bass Music Heavyweights Unite On Excision and Wooli’s “Evolution (The Remixes)”

Excision and Wooli are throwing fuel on the flames of their massive 2019 Evolution EP with a sizable helping of brand new remixes. Of course, we’re talking about two producers who are known for doing it big. The two brought together a roster of bass music’s finest to craft Evolution (The Remixes), and the final product exceeds the already lofty expectations. It was hard to imagine where producers could take the already uninhibited opening track “Lockdown,” but Kompany, Hairitage, and MadReckless stepped up to the challenge. Kompany and Hairitage leaned into their affinity for distortion, escalating the gritty, bass-driven energy to new heights while MadReckless sounds the alarm with a soaring, siren-like lead on his remix.  The EP’s se...

Excision and Wooli Announce “Evolution EP” Remix Pack and Release Date

They also shared one of the project’s remixes from MadReckless. Excision and Wooli released their collaborative Evolution EP back in September 2019, dropping a 4-track bass bomb on their loyal fanbases. The record tied a bow on months of anticipation following the record’s teasing in many of their live shows. The dubstep dynamos have now announced a remix pack for Evolution, and Excision took to Instagram to rhapsodize about the project. “Headbangers! [Wooli] & I are dropping Evolution EP: The Remixes on Aug 18th!!” he wrote.  The bundle, which is slated for an August 18th release, features two free bonus reworks in addition to the currently unannounced official remixes. One of those free downloads, a screeching dubstep rendition of Evolution cut ...

The dubstep don also revealed that vocalist on the track is HALIENE, who has appeared on electronic songs from some of the biggest names in the game, including Armin van Buuren and Seven Lions, among many others.
