Sullivan King recruited a mammoth of a collaborator for his new track. Coming soon to Monstercat is Thrones of Blood, King’s third album. In preparation for the next chapter of his saga, the metalcore-electronic producer has shared a new album single, “Let Me Go,” with help from dubstep star Wooli. The duo’s second collaboration finds the gargantuan melodic bass of Wooli weaving seamlessly with King’s larger-than-life vocals.  The uplifting track combines an emotional plea from King with festival-grade melodic bass. Watch Lost Lands 2022 Performances By ILLENIUM, Subtronics, REZZ, Madeon, More

It’s the Monday after Lost Lands, which means ravers have traded earplugs for neck braces after one of the nation’s most popular dubstep festivals. Headbangers showed out at the 2022 edition of Excision‘s flagship fest. The sheer amount of talent at Lost Lands was staggering, and if the festival’s reputation as the “Dubstep Olympics” was ever in doubt, any scintilla of that was effectively quashed this year. One Lost Lands devotee has uploaded footage from “Couch Lands,” the prehistoric-themed festival’s livestreaming counterpart. Fans can now head to YouTube to watch over 50 DJ sets from the likes of Knife Party, Wooli, REZZ, ILLENIUM, Madeon, SVDDEN DEATH, Eptic, Barely Alive and a momentous closing performance from Subtronics, among ...

Here Are the Set Times for the First-Ever Paradise Blue, Excision’s Cancún Oceanfront Festival

Sun-kissed beaches aren’t typically the setting for neck-snapping dubstep, but not in this headbanger’s paradise. The inaugural Paradise Blue festival invites the world’s best bass music artists to the stunning beaches of Cancún, a city frequented more so by romantic honeymooners than head-banging ravers. But if there’s anyone to take dubstep where it’s never been before, it’s Excision, the festival’s proprietor and one of its headliners. Excision and his team have now released the set times for Paradise Blue, which will feature three stages. The Onyx producer will perform three different DJ sets throughout the destination event, scheduled for April 29th to May 1st. Joining him for the oceanfront fest are Virtual Riot, Zomboy, SVDDEN...

The triumphant feel of the tune helps convey this message as soaring melodies and explosive synths lead the charge. Stapp’s distinct timbre adds to the commanding feel of the arrangement, helping cultivate an inspirational atmosphere.  In his first foray into electronic music, everything felt natural for Stapp. “When I first heard the track, I instantly started recording melodies and lyrics. The piano, builds, crescendos, drops, and overall vibes just connect...

Each producer offers a unique take on “Shadows,” infusing the melodic bass anthem with a diverse sound palette.  Xavi’s remix maintains the heaviest feel of the trio released in the EP, as the impassioned sonics of the original have been replaced by a rumbling bassline. REAPER holds nothing back on his edit, similarly taking a heavy route. Amidy’s vocals remain the focal point leading into a dramatic, eerie ...
