The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s three day tour aboard the Royal Train takes the couple through England, Scotland, and Wales and is a way to “pay tribute to the incredible work of individuals and organisations that have gone above and beyond in response to the coronavirus pandemic,”according to Kensington Palace. And whilst the focus of the tour is on the amazing work of the charities and frontline and essential workers, we couldn’t help but notice Catherine’s many festive outfits on the trip. From cosy fair isle jumpers and red and green tartan scarves to the array of statement-making coats she’s pulled from her wardrobe, the Duchess’s ensembles for this minitour are definitely making us feel merry and bright. Winter has arrived, and this season, we’re forecasting a pretty unique fashion trend: opera gloves. This vintage accessory has become a favourite with celebrities, adding an element of sophistication and drama to their red carpet looks. With the approval of none other than style icon Beyoncé, and Vogue including them in their Autumn 2020’s Most Important Accessory Trends, it’s clear that opera gloves have become a must have (and most surprising!) accessory this season. This month, actor Michelle Keegan has once again teamed up with Very on a womenswear collection. Since partnering with the e-retailer back in 2017, the actor has launched both clothing and homeware, offering everything from sequins dresses to fringed lampshades. Her autumn/winter 2020 collection, which dropped on 14th Sept., marks the 22nd collection she’s worked on with the brand — a task Keegan takes very seriously. The Brassic star sees the range through from the initial sketches to the final product, with the designs inspired by pieces from her own wardrobe or by her personal style icons.
