A former United States Army soldier, Chelsea Manning was famously convicted in 2013 for a myriad of offenses, including violations of the Espionage Act, after leaking nearly 750,000 classified military and diplomatic documents to WikiLeaks. She served seven years in prison, from 2010 to 2017, after her sentence was commuted by former President Barack Obama. After her release from prison in 2017, Manning, a former DJ, made her living through various speaking engagements. And after teasing a return to music earlier this summer, it appears she has dusted off her turntables and updated her Rekordbox library. EKEDC urges customers to shun unauthorised personnel

Stock Photo Eko Electricity Distribution Company has advised its customers to shun illegal activities and the use of unauthorised personnel within its network. Godwin Idemudia, General Manager, Corporate Communications, EKEDC, gave the advice in a statement issued on Monday in Lagos. Idemudia said the advice followed reports from customers of cases of extortion and illegal connections by persons disguising as EKEDC officials. He urged the customers to be wary of unlicensed contractors who go about deceiving customers and fleecing them whilst perpetrating illegal activities. Osun government says 14 local councils affected by looting

Osun State Government on Thursday said looting of government and private property in the state cut across 14 Local Government Areas, as it commenced return of the looted property items to owners who can identify their property Governor Adegboyega Oyetola had granted 72-hour amnesty period to the looters to return the stolen items which expired on Wednesday, during which some of the looted materials were returned. Supervising the return of the looted items at the Parking lot of the Government House in Osogbo, Secretary of the ad-hoc committee on recovery of stolen items, Mr Samson Owoyokun, said the looting affected fourteen local governments areas of the state.
