Roma midfielder Amadou Diawara has been linked with a move to the Premier League and it seems that the likes of Leicester City and West Ham United might be keen on the player. The physically imposing midfielder was heavily linked with Arsenal and Leicester City in the summer but he chose to stay at the Italian club eventually. Latest reports (via The Sun) claim that Roma are now prepared to cash in on the midfielder next month and he could be available for a fee of just £15 million. Diawara has not been a key player for Roma this season and he has made just two appearances in the League for the Italians. The midfielder arrived with a big reputation from Napoli last summer but he has failed to establish himself as a key first-team star at Roma. It is evident that Roma are looking to cu...
According to The Sun, West Ham United have been handed a potential transfer boost as they can sign Lyon centre-back Marcelo for free next summer. The Hammers were close to landing him for £20 million last January as he was keen to leave the French side for the Premier League, but the deal fell through. Marcelo has just seven months left on his current deal at Lyon and isn’t close to signing a new deal as things stand. The 33-year-old will most likely leave as a free agent at the end of 2020-21, and that would give West Ham the opportunity to land him for nothing. Hammers boss David Moyes wanted to bolster his centre-back options in the January transfer window, and the club were strongly linked with Burnley’s James Tarkowski. However, they were priced out of a move and they couldn’t agree a...

Leeds United and West Ham United are thought to be keen on signing Milton Keynes Dons’ starlet Matthew Sorinola. The talented young full-back has made quite an impression this season and he could prove to be a quality long term investment for the two Premier League clubs. According to Team Talk, the likes of Newcastle United are interested in the young defender as well and it will be interesting to see if they can lure him away from Milton Keynes in the coming months. Matthew Sorinola has a big future ahead of him and needs to join a club where he can play regular first-team football and continue his development. The youngster is highly talented but he is not ready for Premier League football just yet and therefore his suitors should look to sign him and then loan him back to Milton Keynes...
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola opened up on his side’s goal scoring troubles after a goalless draw against Man United. He also talked about missing star striker Sergio Aguero. He said: “We miss Sergio but for the last six months, not just today, he was injured a lot of times. One step at a time, he still isn’t fit”. “Other players are working hard. Today he had a problem in his stomach and couldn’t make a session. He was at home”. “Of course, we miss Sergio, he is the best striker in Manchester City’s history”. “In the next short time, we will go without him and I am sure when he is fit, he will be back.” Sergio Aguero missed the Manchester derby due to sickness. The Argentine has been absent for much of City’s season till now. He was carrying an injury into the start of the new sea...
Leeds United suffered back-to-back defeats after being beaten 2-1 by West Ham at Elland Road on Friday night. The Whites took an early lead through Mateusz Klich who scored from the spot after Patrick Bamford was brought down by Lukas Fabianski. It needed help from VAR, although David Moyes said after the match that the officials are making “terrible decisions”. The first effort from Klich was tame and it was easily saved by Fabianski. However, VAR suggested that Fabianski was off the line when the kick was taken, allowing Klich to re-take the penalty. Klich didn’t make any mistake in the second attempt. They can notice Fabianski is an inch off his line but can’t see Bamford is a couple of yards inside the penalty area before Klich re-takes the penalty 🤨 I̵...
Leeds United suffered a 2-1 defeat against West Ham in the Premier League clash at Elland Road on Friday night. It was a lacklustre performance from the home side, and the Hammers deserve the credit for securing all three points after coming from behind. The victory has taken them to fifth in the league table. Bielsa took off Jack Harrison and Ezgjan Alioski on the break. It looked like a smart decision, although Helder Costa hardly had any impact after coming on. In the 74th minute, Bielsa took off Patrick Bamford, and he was replaced by Tyler Roberts. It left many Leeds fans puzzled as to why Bielsa didn’t use Pablo Hernandez when the Spaniard was available on the bench. After the match, the Argentine explained that he wanted Roberts to play up front. Roberts failed to make an...

Here’s a look at every Premier League club’s best signing of 2020 (looking at both January 2020 and the extended summer transfer window). Arsenal – Thomas Partey (£45m) Partey was a statement of intent from the Gunners Brazilian teammate Gabriel Magalhaes could have easily gone here, but the statement of intent behind Thomas Partey’s signing is why he claims this spot. Leeds United have been linked with a move for the former Tottenham winger Marcus Edwards. The 22-year-old has been quite impressive for Portuguese outfit Vitoria Guimaraes and he has been linked with a return to the Premier League in the recent months. According to Football Insider, Leeds United are keeping tabs on the young attacker and they could have signed him during the summer transfer window. However, the Premier League side went on to sign Raphinha for £17 million instead. It will be interesting to see if Leeds United reignite their interest in the player at the end of this season. Marcelo Bielsa already has three impressive wingers (Jack Harrison, Raphinha and Helder Costa) at his disposal and it would be surprising to see him splash out on another wide player anytime soon. There i...
Inter Milan midfielder Christian Eriksen has been linked with a return to the Premier League and it seems that a London club is interested in signing him. According to Eurosport, West Ham United are keen on signing the former Tottenham midfielder and they could make an offer for him when the transfer window reopens in January. The 28-year-old attacking midfielder has failed to establish himself as a key player at Inter Milan and the Italian outfit are prepared to cut their losses on him. Eriksen signed for Inter Milan in January and he is yet to hold down a regular starting berth under Antonio Conte. The midfielder has started just three league games and one Champions League game this season and he is yet to score a goal or provide an assist. It is evident that Christian Eriksen is struggl...
