As the return of Ultra Europe looms just one day away, the festival’s organizers have revealed its set times and three-day schedule. Just weeks after announcing the lineup of its flagship music festival in Miami, Ultra is looking to dominate 2022 after sharing a massive first phase of artists for its European edition. The organizers of the iconic dance music festival brand have announced a slew of major DJs to perform at Ultra Europe, which is scheduled for July 8-10 at Park Mladeži in Split, Croatia. Ultra Europe Organizers Pull the Plug on 2021 Festival, Announce 2022 Dates
The organizers of Ultra Europe have abandoned the festival’s planned 2021 dates, citing the ongoing uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic. The festival, which was scheduled to take place this summer at Croatia’s Poljud Stadium and feature performances from Armin van Buuren, Marshmello, and David Guetta, among others, took to social media to share an official statement. “Unfortunately, due to ongoing COVID-19 official government safety measures, specifically in relation to mass gatherings, the 8th edition of Ultra Europe has been rescheduled to July 8, 9 and 10, 2022,” the statement reads. Ultra Europe 2020 Officially Postponed
Ultra Europe 2020 is the latest major festival to feel the wrath of COVID-19, as organizers shared the heartbreaking news of the 2020 event’s postponement and cited concerns related to the global pandemic. Originally scheduled for July 10th to 12 this summer at Park Mladeẑi, Ultra Europe will now go down from July 9th to 11th, 2021. Back in December 2019, the fest shared a typically staggering Phase 1 lineup in true Ultra fashion.
