U Street Music Hall

Celebrated DC electronic music venue U Street Music Hall is officially closing its doors after 10 years due to the impact of COVID-19. Back in June 2020, U Hall joined forces with a bevy of major DC music venues, including Echostage and Heist, to seek pandemic relief from the city. After they were forced to shutter, they sent a letter to DC Mayor Muriel Bowser in which they pleaded for crucial financial aid that would help their venues survive.
