Jack Black is back as the Kung Fu Panda, but whether Po Ping is still the official Dragon Knight is up for debate. That’s the premise of the first trailer for Netflix’s upcoming series Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight, which you can watch below. After no-good weasels Klaus (Chris Geere) and Veruca (Della Saba) acquire a powerful weapon on Po’s watch, the emperor takes away his Dragon Knight title. In order to earn it back, the panda teams up with the English knight Wandering Blade (Rita Ora) to prevent the two from collecting the other weapons the weasels need to destroy the world. Everyone’s favorite podcasters are about to pop under the pressure in the new trailer for Season 2 of Only Murders in the Building. The new preview picks up where Season 1 left off, with Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short), and Mabel (Selena Gomez) being led away in handcuffs. “You are all persons of interest in this case,” Detective Williams (Da’Vine Joy Randolph) tells them, a reference to the twist that ended the last season. However, this cloud has a silver lining. “It’s very rare for a true crime podcast to do a sequel,” Charles says. “We’ve got a real opportunity here.” Advertisement Related Video But only if they can stay ahead of the murderer, who seems increasingly hellbent on seeing them in prison. As Mabel complains, “Evidence keeps showing up in ou...

Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese, the creators of the smash hit German series Dark, are back with an English-language follow-up that promises to be just as mysterious and twisted. 1899 is coming to Netflix later this year, and the first teaser trailer is out now. 1899 — not to be confused with the Yellowstone prequel 1883 — stars Emily Beecham (Hail, Caesar!) as Maura Franklin. According to the official logline, “Multinational immigrants traveling from the old continent to the new encounter a nightmarish riddle aboard a second ship adrift on the open sea.” The teaser only hints at what this “nightmarish riddle” might entail, but it definitely seems to be small and pyramid shaped, judging by the trailer’s opening image and recurring triangular typograp...
Marvel has unleashed the first trailer for its next Disney+ series, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Starring Tatiana Maslany, the show is set to premiere on August 17th. Maslany plays Jennifer Walters, a lawyer who specializes in superhuman law. She also happens to be the cousin of an Avenger, one Bruce “The Hulk” Banner (a returning Mark Ruffalo). In the comic books, Walters’ need for an emergency blood transfusion from her dear relative leads to her gaining the same gamma-induced superpowers, transforming her into the sensational She-Hulk. While it’s not clear exactly what causes her to gain the green skin and about five feet of height in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it’s clear her new look will cause some of the same issues. When Banner warns her that her powers are “triggered by ange...
HBO is about to welcome us back to Westworld, and the theme park is not looking good. In the newly released trailer for Season 4 of the sci-fi drama, officially premiering on June 26th, Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) and her fellow Hosts continue to deal with their Human feelings — and as all humans know, it’s a pretty rocky ride. Perfectly set to Lou Reed’s “Perfect Day,” the cinematic Season 4 trailer begins calm enough — Maeve (Thandiwe Newton) takes a casual stroll, Caleb (Aaron Paul) drinks Sangria in the park (so to speak) — but chaos quickly ensues as the song swells. The Man in Black (Ed Harris) and Bernard Lowe (Jeffrey Wright) come closer to death, and as allegiances blur, Reed’s hex seems inevitable: the characters are all going to reap just what they sow. Watch the trailer for...
“England’s terribly boring. Nothing ever changes,” a young punk bemoans in the extended trailer for Pistol, Danny Boyle’s upcoming Sex Pistols series. Enter Johnny Rotten and company, whose “I am an antichrist/ I am an anarchist” lyrics simultaneously pioneered punk rock and triggered a moral panic across their, uh, beloved UK. The new trailer for the FX series tracks the formation of the band, as Thomas Brodie-Sangster’s Malcom McLaren concocts the idea for a group based not on talent, but on pure spunk. “Whether you can play is not the criteria,” McLaren says. “It’s whether you’ve got something to say.” Of course, Sex Pistols fans know their whole anarchist ethos was more bad boy posturing than anything, so when someone asks Anson Boon’s Rotten (born John Lydon) what, in fact, ...
