Kendrick Lamar & Dave Free to Produce Comedy Film With ‘South Park’ Creators

Kendrick Lamar and Dave Free are teaming up with South Park co-creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker to produce a comedy film for Paramount Pictures. The yet-untitled, live-action comedy, written by Vernon Chatman, will “depict the past and present coming to a head when a young Black man, who is interning as a slave re-enactor at a living history museum, discovers that his white girlfriend’s ancestors once owned his,” according to a press statement. Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet are separating. Momoa, 42, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share the “family news” that he and Bonet, 54, are “parting ways in marriage.” The Aquaman and Dune star added, “We share this not because we think it’s newsworthy, But so that — as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty.” The pair married in October of 2017, with Momoa becoming the stepfather to Zoe Kravitz, Bonet’s daughter with her ex-husband Lenny Kravitz. Bob Saget, the stand-up comedian known for starring on Full House and hosting America’s Funniest Home Videos, died Sunday (Jan. 9), the Orlando Sheriff’s Department confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter. He was 65. According to the department, deputies responded just after 4 p.m. local time to the 4000 block of Central Florida Parkway, which is the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes. The emergency call was in response to a person down. On arrival, deputies located Saget, who was unresponsive in a hotel room. The actor was pronounced dead on scene. Denis O’Dell, Beatles Film Producer, Dies at 98

Denis O’Dell, a British film producer and director who worked with The Beatles on the movie A Hard Day’s Night and other productions, has died at his home in Spain, his son said Friday (Dec. 31). He was 98. Arran O’Dell told The Associated Press that his father died overnight at his house in Almería, in southeast Spain. He said the family planned a local private service and a memorial service at a later date in the United Kingdom.
