According to the Guardian, Atletico Madrid have turned down the first official proposal from the Red Devils and they value the defender at £34.4 million. Manchester United could certainly use more depth in the full-back positions and Trippier can play on both flanks. Furthermore, he is much more effective going forward as compared to Aaron Wan-Bssaka and he would probably be an instant starter at Old Trafford. Kieran Trippier’s 10-week ban for betting offences is on hold as FIFA considers an appeal, although the FA has explained its decision. Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone welcomed Kieran Trippier back to training after his 10-week suspension for betting offences was put on hold by FIFA.
