Today, Paramount Pictures dropped the new trailer to the latest installment in the Transformers saga, Rise of the Beasts, and from the looks of things it’s going to be a wild ride. Directed by Steven Caple Jr. (Creed 2), Rise of The Beasts once again finds Optimus Prime and the Autobots defending earth from the Decepticons, but this time around Prime will be getting assists from the Maximals, Predacons, and Terrorcons who’ve taken on the form of wild beasts for the pending battle. Heck, even Jazz gets in on the action and is introduced into the franchise as a Porsche. Can’t be mad at that....

Collider reports that the Hellboy star will be portraying the fearless leader of the Maximals, reprising the role after appearing in the Transformers: Power of the Primes animated web series. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will be inspired by the Beast Wars stroyline, bringing characters like the Maximals, Predacons, and Terrorcons together with the Autobots and Decepticons. Kaduna State on Sunday was thrown into total blackout ahead of the five-day warning strike directed by the Nigeria Labour Congress to commence from midnight of Sunday in the state. The total blackout followed a warning by the National Union of Electricity Employees, an affiliate of the NLC, directing its workers to join the strike action in Kaduna beginning on Midnight Sunday. But the state government said it won’t bow to the intimidation of the NLC over its planned ‘rightsizing’ of the state workforce.
