The Nigerian delegation to the just concluded Four-Nation invitational tournament tagged Summer Series which took place in Houston and Austin in Texas, United States, have arrived the country. The 10 home-based Super Falcons players, three assistant coaches, Ann Chiejine, Wemimo Mathew and Auwal Makwalla (Goalkeepers Trainer) as well as backroom staff arrived Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, Friday. Brazilian president fined for not wearing mask
Brazilian President, Jair Bolsonaro, has been fined for not wearing a mask as he joined thousands of motorcyclists at a rally in Sao Paulo. Bolsonaro waved from his bike to the cheering crowd as he used the occasion to insist masks were useless for vaccinated people. The rally snaked in and out of the city, arriving back at Ibirapuera Park, where the far-right leader addressed supporters and said mask-wearing for vaccinated people was pointless. Officials have disclosed that skipper Asisat Oshoala and experienced defender Onome Ebi have overcome visa hitches and should feature for the Super Falcons against Portugal Sunday in continuation of the Summer Series in Texas, USA. Both players missed the Falcons opening game against Jamaica, which the African champions lost 1-0 Thursday.
