Tom Heaton has reportedly agreed to join Manchester United. According to The Mirror, the 35-year-old will move to Old Trafford as a free agent. The goalkeeper spent six years at Burnley, where he made 200 appearances for the club in all competitions. He joined Villa in 2019 for a fee in the region of £8 million. Heaton made 20 appearances for Dean Smith’s side before picking up a season-ending knee injury in January. Heaton lost his place to Emiliano Martinez, who joined Villa from Arsenal last summer. Martinez was outstanding last season, starting every Premier League game.
