Tiger King’s Carole Baskin Joins Dancing with the Stars Season 29

If you thought Dancing with the Stars found the bottom of the barrel with Sean Spicer, just wait till you see a potential murderer take the stage. Yes, ABC’s hit celebrity reality competition show has booked Tiger King star Carole Baskin to join the Season 29 cast. Baskin, who will take over the now-shuttered Tiger King zoo at the end of the month, will sashay on DWTS alongside rapper Nelly, Backstreet Boys member AJ McLean, and One Day at a Time star Justina Machado. Other “famous” contestants for the new season include Monica Aldama, a head coach from Netflix’s Cheer; Bachelorette lead Kaitlyn Bristowe; NFL tight end Vernon Davis; Skai Jackson, Disney Channel star and voice actress; actress Anne Heche; Nev Schulman, host of MTV’s Catfish; Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir; former NB...

Joe Exotic’s “Revenge” Underwear Line Puts His Face on Your Crotch

Some people take the high road, but Joe Exotic prefer to go low. The Tiger King star has launched a new underwear line called “Revenge”, and among other perks (?) it allows you to wear his face over your own crotch. The merch is a collaboration with streetwear brand Odaingerous. As TMZ notes, Odaingerous soft-launched “Revenge” in May, and that collection of shirts and hoodies sold out in mere hours. Branded underwear is a new touch, but it makes sense: An undone fly is as synonymous with Joe Exotic as salacious murders and animal abuse. The showstopper of these skeevy skivvies is called the “Financially Recover Cheetah Boxer Brief”. That’s the one that allows you to cover your own majesty with the face of the King. “Revenge” also includes tiger stripe prints in various colors, word patter...

Cardi B Claps Back At Carole Baskin: “You Killed Your Goddamn Husband”

Source: Bernard Smalls / @PhotosByBeanz The response to Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s “WAP” has been sort of a mixed bag with some people praising the collaboration and others, well, not so much. But we bet no one saw Tiger King “villain” Carole Baskin hoping on the “WAP” slander bandwagon and not for sexualizing women or anything like that, but for using tigers in her video. Unfortunately for the Tiger King co-star, Cardi B had a little time and not only put her in her place, but reminded everyone of her alleged crime. The Huffpost is reporting that Cardi responded to Baskin telling Entertainment Weekly that she felt Cardi and Megan used tigers that were likely abused in order to be tamed for their visuals to “WAP” and worried that would just lead to more animal cruelty for future vis...

Astronautalis Shares First New Solo Single in Four Years “The Way I Am”: Stream

Rejoice! Astronautalis has returned with his first new solo single in four years, and his first new track since his 2018 collaboration with POS in Four Fists. It’s called “The Way I Am” and the Florida-Minneapolis bard has paired the melancholy jam with a hilarious new music video featuring a deepfake of Tiger King. Produced and mixed by Subp Yao, “The Way I Am” finds Astronautalis doing a little soul searching over balmy beats that sound like the aural equivalent of a meditative stroll. “I’m drunk on whiskey maybe,” he sings, “Passed in the back of the van/ You seen it all now, ain’t i crazy?/ Can you still love me the way i am?” “I was kind of a mess of a man when I met the woman who would later become my wife,” Astronautalis says of the song. “Thankfully, she saw through all my bullshit...

Tiger King’s Joe Exotic Says “I’ll Be Dead In 2-3 Months”

Hard times for Tiger King’s Joe Exotic. In a letter obtained by TMZ, dated June 1st, and addressed to “supporters, fans, and loved ones,” the imprisoned Netflix celebrity paints a pretty bleak portrait for himself. In fact, he predicts, “I’ll be dead in two to three months.” Before that, though, Exotic thanks everyone for their support, erroneously claiming the pandemic is over, and pleading for that sweet presidential pardon, writing: “I ask President Trump to keep his word and look into making this wrong a right and grant me a miracle.” It’s perhaps at this point that Exotic realizes everyone’s moved on from Tiger King mania because things take a dark turn. “My soul is dead,” he writes, “I struggle every day to hold on to what little hope I can find.” Reason being, he has no outside...

Joe Exotic Donated to Trump; Now His Legal Team Heads to White House for Pardon

Netflix docuseries Tiger King follows the real-life drama of a few big cat-loving villains, some of whom have become heralded celebrities (albeit ironically) since the TV show aired. Now, it looks like there’s some dirt on Tiger King antihero Joe Exotic that may dissuade fans from rooting for him to get out of jail: he donated to Donald Trump during his presidential run in 2016. Four years ago, Exotic paid $1,000 for a meet-and-greet at a Trump campaign outside Oklahoma City, reports TMZ. At one point, he stepped outside the home where the event was being held to smoke a cigarette. When he tried to head back inside, the Secret Service allegedly blocked him and said re-entry wasn’t allowed. He believes it’s because he showed his ID to get back inside and the agents saw his concealed-carry p...

Tiger King Park Reopens to Huge Crowds Despite Social Distancing Guidelines

Netflix docuseries Tiger King was a perfect storm: ridiculous characters, mockable music, and a release date that caught freshly quarantined Americans itching for something new to watch. This past weekend, the infamous zoo at the center of it all held its grand reopening since closing due to the coronavirus pandemic. Unsurprisingly, fans flocked to the zoo to rub elbows with the villainous celebrities — blatantly ignoring social distancing guidelines in the process. Recently renamed “Tiger King Park” to capitalize on every inch of newfound fame, the zoo was packed with hundreds of paying visitors throughout the weekend, reports TMZ. The demand was so high that a line snaked around the Wynnewood, Oklahoma lot. Allegedly Tiger King Park reopened under “new CDC social distancing and sanitatio...

Jimmy Fallon Impersonates Nicolas Cage Playing Tiger King’s Joe Exotic: Watch

The idea of Jimmy Fallon impersonating Nicolas Cage playing Tiger King’s Joe Exotic reads like something an Internet algorithm made up. Alas, The Tonight Show clown king made it a reality on Tuesday night, capitalizing on the news of the forthcoming scripted series. Basically, it’s Fallon doing his best bar room gesticulation of Cage, only wearing all the Tiger King accoutrements. The bleach-blonde wig? Check. The ’90s Fleer Ultra shades? Check. The Spirit Halloween threads? Check. He even wrote a country song. Of course, this writer is well aware of the hypocrisy that he’s writing this up and promoting it. But, if you’re like him, and already convinced the world is teetering on the edge of destruction, then perhaps you’ll take joy in muting the video and simply imagining Fallon has just l...

Joe Exotic Will Formally Ask Donald Trump for a Pardon

Joe Exotic and his legal team are launching a campaign to ask Donald Trump for a pardon. The formal request will come in the next few days, TMZ reports, with the hope that he’ll be able to plead his case to the president, one criminal reality star to another. The subject of Netflix’s Tiger King was sentenced to 22 years in prison, having been found guilty of trying to hire a hitman to kill Carole Baskin, his nemesis, as well 17 counts of (and this is a technical legal term) being a dick to animals. But Exotic has maintained his innocence, and his defense basically boils down to, “Would I have told everyone I would pay good money to have Carol Baskin killed if I was actually going to do it?” So far, his strategy for presidential outreach involves wrapping a bus in an eye...

Nicholas Cage Tapped To Play Joe Exotic In ‘Tiger King’ Scripted Television Series

Source: RB/Bauer-Griffin / Getty Weeks after Ed Norton and Dex Shephard took to social media to feud over who’d make a better Joe Exotic in a Tiger King film production, Nicholas Cage swooped in out of left field to land the first official role centered around the 2020 pop culture phenomenon. More than a decade after Ghost Rider seemingly ended whatever respectability he had left in his illustrious film career, Variety is reporting that Cage will be transformed into the openly gay zoo operator turned madman in an eight-episode limited series centered around a Texas monthly article, “Joe Exotic: A Dark Journey Into the World of a Man Gone Wild,” by Leif Reigstad. The series is set to be produced by CBS Television Studios and Imagine Television Studio with Dan Lagana serving as wri...
