Dave Lombardo Reveals That His Classic Slayer Drum Sets Were Stolen
In a new interview, drummer Dave Lombardo has revealed that all of his classic Slayer drum kits were stolen in various thefts over the years. Lombardo offered up the awful news during a recent appearance on YouTube metal program “Hangin’ and Bangin’”. In addition to having two storage units broken into, a Slayer rehearsal room in Riverside, California, was also pilfered, resulting in the loss of Lombardo’s classic kits from his long stint as a founding member of the legendary thrash band. Casual worker in court for ‘stealing’ 10 sachets of seaman’s schnapps
A 29-year-old casual worker, Babatunde Adewuyi, on Tuesday appeared in a Magistrates’ Court in Ota, Ogun for allegedly stealing ten packs of seaman’s schnapps worth N15,000. The police charged Adewuyi, whose address with theft. The prosecution counsel, Insp E.O. Adaraloye, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on Feb 23 at 6 p.m.at the NDL Company, on the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, Ota. Adaraloye said the defendant, who was a casual worker of the company, stole ten packs of seaman sachets worth N15,000. A personal shopper hired by Hart racked up over $1 million in credit charges and was charged today in New York. In a press announcement from Queens County District Attorney Melinda Katz, 29-year-old Dylan Jason Syer of Long Island City in Queens was indicted and arraigned in Queens Supreme Court on grand larceny and related charges. Between October 2017 and February 2019, Syer made a number of fraudulent charges for personal gain while still performing the duties he was hired for by Hart. A U.S. Postal Service supervisor was sentenced in a case involving the theft of video game consoles back in the spring of 2020, federal prosecutors announced on Wednesday (Jan.13). Derby, Connecticut native Zoheb A. Deura, 34, was slapped with a $20,000 fine and three years probation, and nine months of home confinement. Deura pleaded guilty back in October to stealing numerous packages between February and April 2020. According to Polygon, he took “PlayStation and Nintendo gaming devices,” as well as an Apple iPhone and a computer. A 45-year-old trader, Obiemeke Felix, who allegedly stole a cell phone worth N240,000 belonging to his colleague, on Thursday appeared in a Wuse Zone 6 Magistrates’ Court . The International Criminal Police Organisation (INTERPOL) has alerted Nigeria, South Africa, the United Kingdom, the United States, and 190 other countries of threat from organised criminal groups during the upcoming COVID-19 vaccination campaigns, including fake vaccines and the theft of supplies. The alert came as the UK yesterday became the first country in the world to approve the Pfizer/BioNTech coronavirus vaccine for widespread use. Court sentences man to two weeks community service for theft
A Grade 1 Area Court, Kubwa in Abuja on Thursday sentenced one Nura Usman, to two weeks community service for stealing one iron pipe and escaping from lawful custody. Usman was convicted and sentenced for criminal trespass, theft and escape from lawful custody. The judge, Muhammad Adamu, sentenced Usman to one week community service with an option of N3, 000 fine for the offence of criminal trespass and theft. Adamu also ordered Usman to observe one week community service for escape from lawful custody. He however, warned him to desist from committing crimes and be of good behaviour.
