The Chainsmokers have dropped their first single of 2023, “Make Me Feel,” a huge collaboration with virtuosic house music producer Cheyenne Giles. The San Diego-based “big room bounce” producer brings his signature club edge in the new track, out now on Tiësto’s Music Freedom imprint. Entrancing horn samples and a banging four-to-the-floor rhythm are the cornerstones of “Make Me Feel,” a radiant dance record and bona fide floor filler. The Chainsmokers and Giles lay down sultry grooves right off the bat before crisp percussion, warm synths and soulful vocal samples blend with precision. The producers also teamed up with French filmmaker Remi Molettee for a psychedelic shapeshifting music video. You can watch the official “Make Me Feel” ...

The Chainsmokers are ascending to new heights. We mean that quite literally, as the duo have just signed up for the most unique live performance of their career. The venue? A pressurized capsule floating 20 miles above the earth’s surface. The stunt is being made possible as part of an initiative by World View, an innovator in the emerging space tourism sector. The company has demonstrated an early track record of success operating at the edge of the stratosphere, most notably as evidenced by their efforts to engineer a record-breaking skydive performed by Alan Eustace in 2014. Now World View is set to break another barrier after announcing The Chainsmokers as the first artists to perform at the edge of space, per AP. “We have always dreamed of going to space and are stoked to ...

Prior to the release of their fourth studio LP, The Chainsmokers triumphantly tweeted “2016 is back.” The declaration, though somewhat ambiguous, loosely set the tone for what to expect from the prolific duo’s latest effort, So Far So Good. Harkening back to the era of the duo’s breakthrough Collage EP, we’re reminded of The Chainsmokers’ ability to succinctly craft expressive dance-pop with mainstream success. The declaration would seemingly appear to be a clear acknowledgment of what put the duo on top, and their intentions to reclaim that mantle. With So Far So Good out in full, the album is every bit as self-reflective, heartfelt, and nostalgic as we’d hoped. From throwing caution to the wind and seizing the moment on the summery R...
