The Leaders of Westworld Reap What They Sow in Season 4 Trailer: Watch

HBO is about to welcome us back to Westworld, and the theme park is not looking good. In the newly released trailer for Season 4 of the sci-fi drama, officially premiering on June 26th, Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) and her fellow Hosts continue to deal with their Human feelings — and as all humans know, it’s a pretty rocky ride. Perfectly set to Lou Reed’s “Perfect Day,” the cinematic Season 4 trailer begins calm enough — Maeve (Thandiwe Newton) takes a casual stroll, Caleb (Aaron Paul) drinks Sangria in the park (so to speak) — but chaos quickly ensues as the song swells. The Man in Black (Ed Harris) and Bernard Lowe (Jeffrey Wright) come closer to death, and as allegiances blur, Reed’s hex seems inevitable: the characters are all going to reap just what they sow. Thandiwe Newton Was Not Happy With How Her Character Was Killed In ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Axelle/Bauer-Griffin / Getty Star Wars takes place in a galaxy far, far away, but it still is trouble by Earth’s biggest problem, the treatment of actors of color. Thandiwe Newton is the latest Black thespian to call out the iconic sci-fi film franchise’s handling of Black, Brown, and Asian characters in the films. Speaking with Inverse in an interview published on Wednesday (Aug.25), Newton revealed she was “disappointed” with how her character was handled in the movie that served as the origin story of smuggler turned reluctant hero of the rebellion Han Solo. Thandie Newton Says Amy Pascal Pushed for Black Stereotypes

Thandie Newton is no stranger to the ills of Hollywood, and certainly not the industry’s ensuing racism. In a new interview with Vulture, the Westworld star details a particularly harrowing moment with former Sony producer Amy Pascal. For context, Newton had met with Pascal to audition for Charlie’s Angels, McG’s blockbuster reimagining of the ’70s series that would become one of the highest grossing pictures of 2000. Newton wouldn’t go near it — and with good reason. Below is her account of the meeting: I had a meeting with her, and she said, “Look, I don’t mean to be politically incorrect, but the character as written and you playing the role, I just feel like we’ve got to make sure that it’s believable.” I was like, “What do you mean? What changes would you have to make?” She’s like, “W...
