Wizkid and Tems win American Music Awards 2022 for Favorite R&B Song

Last night, Nigerian singer Wizkid and his collaborator Tems won the American Music Awards (AMA) 2022 for “Favorite R&B Song” with his global hit “Essence”.  Big congratulations to Wizkid for picking up yet another international award for his global hit song “Essence“. The Starboy honcho won yet another award two years after he released the “Made In Lagos” album. Wizkid and Tems were earlier nominated for the “Favorite R&B Song” award at the AMA 2022 and went on to win the category. In deed, “Essence” has been huge in America after becoming a multi-platinum single selling millions of units in America. At the American Music Awards, known as the AMAs 2022, Wizkid and Tems would make their first stage performance appearance. On Monday, October 31, 2022, the AMAs’ producers announced on social media that Nigerian singers Tems and Wizkid would be on the stage to perform during the awards ceremony.
