Southern Discomfort: Waka Flocka’s Instagram Page Disappears After Flaming T.I. Over Street Politics

Source: Robert Kamau / Getty It looks like T.I. and Waka Flocka are experiencing some difficulties and it may be the reason why the “Groves St. Party” rapper no longer has an Instagram page. HotNewHipHop reports that the profile disappeared shortly after responding to T.I.’s posts addressing violence occurring in their hometown.  “Atlanta is a beautiful progressive city filled with black excellence,” the “Family Hustle” star wrote on Instagram. “We uplift each other & win together. Stop coming here to kill each other. That shit is played out.”  The post was accompanied by the following caption: “Handle YOUR beefs in YOUR city. Thx in advance.” Fans immediately suspected the post was in response to the fatal shooting of King Von, who died over the weekend after beefing with lo...

Source: Paras Griffin / Getty It seems like the new season of online battles is heating up fast. A challenge has been issued and declined, but picked up by another living legend within 24 hours. Busta Rhymes made a recent appearance on The Fat Joe Show. While the two spoke on a variety of topics, including his forthcoming album E.L.E. 2, the Dragon made it clear he wants all the smoke with T.I. on a forthcoming Verzuz battle. “From one brother that loves you to my brother that knows I love him, I’m begging you to step in the ring with me,” he told Joe. “I’m gonna bust your ass. Let me tell you something, we gonna do it with grace but I’m just bust T.I. … come on, T.I. Let’s have fun.” Naturally, the public invite got back to Clifford rather expeditiously prompting the T...

T.I. on His 11th Album, All-Nighters in the Studio With Young Thug and 21 Savage

Clifford “T.I.” Harris is one of the greatest rappers of all time, the self-proclaimed King of the South. He’s also one of the rare MCs whose speaking voice isn’t a faint hint of the voice he raps with: he’s a thoughtful and loquacious guy whose vocabulary gets even more expansive when he’s not contained by a rhyme scheme. And it sometimes seems like he’s constantly holding forth with a continuous stream of thought as he moves from the vocal booth to reality shows to his podcast to film roles, an oratory that you just temporarily participate in when interviewing him for a half-hour. The rapper, who turned 40 last month, just released his 11th album, The L.I.B.R.A., with an all-star roster of guests including Young Thug, Lil Baby, Benny the Butcher, and 21 Savage. But the father of six also...

Source: Shareif Ziyadat / Getty T.I. just released his 11th studio album The L.I.B.R.A., and one of the songs from the track makes mention of an incident featuring Drake. On the track “We Did It Big,” Tip raps about a friend of his urinating on Drizzy’s foot but it’s not the big act of disrespect that some have attempted to paint. Featuring John Legend, and produced by OgTha3, MXV, C Gutta & Ben Harvey, the song finds Tip looking back on the older days and shouting out his fallen soldiers such as Philant Johnson while also mentioning the tense times of his days in the trap. During the second verse “We Did It Big,” the line regarding Drake and his good friend Cap that everyone has been discussing is featured. “So much I can say about my n*gga Cap/Life as I know it, it started that day/I...

T.I. Shares What Tory Lanez Told Him About The Megan Thee Stallion Shooting Situation

Source: Bernard Smalls/ @PhotosByBeanz After Megan Thee Stallion confirmed what we all basically knew that a certain miniature Canadian singer was the one who shot her, many called for Tory Lanez to speak up about the incident. While there weren’t many, there were quite a few Black men in the Hip-Hop industry who called out Lanez while standing up for Thee Stallion. Names like Bun B, J.R. Smith were very vocal on social media and didn’t mince words when pointing out how wack Lanez was for shooting Megan. Atlanta rapper and self-proclaimed “King of The South” T.I. was another rapper who wanted the “Say It” crafter to explain himself expeditiously. In a recent interview with Complex, Tip revealed he did have a conversation with Lanez, and he shared the product of that discussion between the ...

Per the settlement, T.I. didn’t confirm nor d...

T.I. Claims 50 Cent Gets More Respect Than Nelly Because Of East Coast Ties

Source: Manny Hernandez / Getty When Andre 3000 said “the South has something to say” it would be prophetic in so many ways. T.I. is campaigning hard for all the talent from below the Mason Dixie line. As spotted on HipHopDX the “Swagger Like Us” rapper is being very vocal to what he perceives is unfair advantage East Coast rappers have over the rest of the map. Last week he called up Kevin Hart to negotiate a Verzuz between he and 50 Cent. Unfortunately, Curtis did not feel he was on his level and went on to quickly deny the challenge. Since the dismissal, Tip has voiced his concern about how New York rappers get precedence when it comes to how their legacies are ranked. In a recent interview with HOT 97, he detailed his frustrations with Ebro Darden and Peter Rosenberg. “N...

T.I. Responds Expediently To Donald Trump Utilizing His Music In Unsanctioned Contemporary Propaganda

Source: Bernard Smalls for iOne Digital / Bernard Smalls iOne Digital While America’s attention is rightfully focused on police brutality at the moment, one MC has not forgotten about Donald Trump’s thievery. As expected the King of the South has put him in his place. As reported earlier this week the Trump administration got their petty on with a goal of slighting de facto Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. The tactic repurposed T.I.’s hit song “Whatever You Like” to “I don’t want Joe Biden / don’t need Joe Biden”. Naturally, the clip landed on Tip’s desk and he made it clear that the POTUS violated both his artistic integrity and legal rights. The “Trap Back Jumpin” rapper’s team released a formal statement detailing his harsh opposition to the track being used by the liar in chi...

Trump Administration Uses T.I.’s “Whatever You Like” To Slander Joe Biden On Snapchat [Video]

Source: Andrew Chin / Getty Just when you think the POTUS will start exhibiting more chill we get a reminder that there is no limit to his petty. President Trump has once again taken a touch of creative license to slander one of his rivals. As spotted on Complex, Trump is using the culture to his benefit. Earlier this week, his administration took a very calculated jab at his democratic adversary Joe Biden. In an advertisement run on Snapchat, Trump’s team flipped T.I.’s classic “Whatever You Like” to downplay the former vice president’s ability to run the country. What would normally be “I want yo’ body, need yo’ body,” has been repurposed in a slick manner. The clip in question features some tricknology bars (“I don’t want Joe Biden / don’t need Joe Biden”) layered over various phot...
