Benee is welcomed into The 1,000,000,000 List. The New Zealand artist (real name Stella Rose Bennett) and her collaborator Josh Fountain gain entry to the club for 1 billion plays of “Supalonely,” a Top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 following its release in 2019. The alt-pop breakup song caught fire on TikTok, where it became a dance challenge, and promptly made the leap to commercial radio and the mainstream charts.
