Euro 2020: Manchester United skipper boosts England squad

Manchester United defender, Harry Maguire, was in England training ahead of their Euros kickoff. And Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson was also seen sprinting at the Three Lions base in a major boost for boss Gareth Southgate, reports the Sun. Both had injury doubts hanging over them heading into the tournament. It’s too early to tell whether either man could feature in Sunday’s opener against Croatia at Wembley. But seeing two senior men and leaders back among the rest of the group is a shot in the arm for Southgate. David Moyes set to sign new three-year West Ham United contract

West Ham United manager David Moyes will sign a new three-year contract next week, according to the Sun. The 58-year-old returned to the London Stadium to take over from Manuel Pellegrini in December 2019 after a six-month stint in 2018, penning an 18-month contract. That deal ends at the end of the campaign, but the Hammers board has been impressed with the job he has done and are more than happy to hand him an extension after a successful trial. West Ham were 17th in the Premier League table, one point above the relegation zone when Moyes re-joined, and he led them to safety at the end of the 2019-20 campaign. The team finished in 16th place with 39 points, their lowest points tally since 2010-11. The former Everton boss secured 20 points from 19 games, but has guided them to the brink o...

Edinson Cavani offered £50K pay rise to stay at Manchester United

Manchester United plan to keep Edinson Cavani at Old Trafford for the 2021-22 season by offering the striker a wage increase of £50,000, according to reports. The Uruguayan has cemented himself as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first-choice striker during the second half of the 2020-21 campaign, playing a pivotal goalscoring role both domestically and in Europe – most notably in the Europa League semi-final tie with AS Roma, against whom he scored four goals over two legs. United do not have the option to extend the 12-month deal Cavani signed last summer, and it has been generally assumed the 34-year-old would return to South America this summer. However, Cavani can choose to add another year to his current deal, and according to The Sun, United plan to give the 34-year-old extra incentive to rem...

They paid Juventus 100 million for Pogba and they apparently want to get back a good amount of that money. They are worried this will be less likely to happen as the summer goes on. Therefore, United want to renew Pogba. To continue at the club, the former Juve man is demanding 500,000 pounds a week, a crazy sum of money. In order to pay him this amount of money, ‘The Sun’ says that United could let De Gea leave...
