Manchester United star Donny van de Beek urged to consider January transfer exit

Ajax and Netherlands legend Ronald de Boer has advised Donny Van De Beek to leave Manchester United in this January transfer window. Van De Beek has struggled for game time since his £39million move from Ajax. The 23-year-old has started just two Premier League games this season and has been completely left out the squad for United’s last three fixtures. And De Boer thinks the Holland international should consider leaving with the Euros coming up this summer. He told AD: “The European Championship is coming, he will undoubtedly want to be there. “Maybe it would be good for him to discuss with the club exactly what they want with him. “If the view on playing time does not improve, he may have to declare that he should be loaned or even sold. “You have to be lucky every now and then. Of cour...

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer must avoid Jose Mourinho’s mistakes to succeed

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has arguably fallen into the Jose Mourinho trap and needs to sort things out before they get out of hand. Sir Alex Ferguson often spoke about how, when setting his teams up, he would mostly focus on his own side and only a little attention was spent on the opponent. The legendary Scotsman made it a point to reiterate the balance was delicate and couldn’t sway too much in the other direction or it’d become dangerous. Mourinho often set United up on a match by match basis and it was why he was accused of not having any real tactics, philosophy or style at the club. When Solskjaer came in it was clear what he wanted the team to do and it was just a case of making the players do it better to show progression. It was partly why he won the job- for hav...

Eberechi Eze named Crystal Palace Player of the Month

Eberechi Eze has expressed his delight after he was named Crystal Palace’s W88 Player of the Month for November. “It’s a great privilege and I’m grateful the fans have been entertained by my performances. It’s a great pleasure. “Leeds was a huge game for me. It was the perfect opportunity for me to come in and to stake my claim. It was a great performance by the boys, great points on the board.” The summer signing shone for netting his first Premier League goal in style, rifling home a free-kick against Leeds United at the start of the month and bagging an assist in the same game. Frustrating results followed for the Eagles, but fans felt Eze stood out, choosing him for the POTM accolade with almost 64% of the vote. Eze beat Nathaniel Clyne (10%) to first place in the vote after the defend...

BTS, Joey King, Jaden Smith, And More Ruled The VMA Virtual Video Booth

The 2020 Video Music Awards are officially underway, and like the BET Awards in June, this year’s show has largely gone remote, with plenty of energetic performances taking place across various iconic New York locales. And though the ceremony isn’t centrally located at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center as previously planned, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, that hasn’t stopped celebrities from channeling its fabulous spirit. The VMA red carpet has certainly produced iconic looks throughout its history. (Who could forget the cherry-red gown emblazoned with the word “siren” that Lizzo wore last year ahead of her juicy, booty-bouncing performance?) To keep that big peacock energy alive, musicians and actors captured their best outfits v...
