Christina Yuna Lee, a senior creative producer at Splice, was found dead in her Lower Manhattan apartment on Sunday after she was fatally stabbed by a stranger who followed her from the street, up six flights of stairs and into her home. Sources say the suspect, Assamad Nash, followed Lee into her apartment early Sunday morning and tried to flee through the fire escape after fatally stabbing her over 40 times. Sounds+, Creator, and Creator+ subscribers will gain access to three new plugins after the platform shared the first major update to its playable sample library. Serato and Splice Join Forces to Launch Arcade-Inspired Music Production Competition

The production grandmasters at Serato Studio and Splice are summoning all music producers for a beatmaking battle for the ages. Their joint competition, BeatFighter Slam Dunk, will pit producers against each other in a head-to-head competition for the chance to be crowned a beatmaking champion.
