Following his October 2020 two-track EP; “Hear Me Out (Know Me)“,  ykb – formerly known as yusufkanbai – started the year 2021 on a spectacular note with the release of a Twitter video, “Oshofree”, that went viral on the Nigerian internet space. The song garnered over a quarter of a million streams on Audiomack and ykb was recognized as one of the artists to watch out for by Pitchfork.  The singer begins the journey for his new name – ykb with the release of this outstanding record; “Dey Your Dey” featuring Indigenous-Rapper, Zlatan Ibile. On “Dey Your Dey“, ykb succinctly describes the need to maintain your lane on an uptempo beat that certainly gets your moving and keeps you energetic.
